John Follmer

John Follmer is a dedicated and engaged member of the Veteran Community, actively contributing to various organizations and initiatives. Proudly representing Supervisory District 3 in Los Angeles County, he serves as a Battle Buddy with the Veteran Peer Access Network and Goodwill Southern California. In addition, John holds the position of Vice President at Welcome Home Troops, where he plays a crucial role in coordinating volunteer efforts at The Japanese Garden, located in the heart of the West LA VA.

A passionate advocate for veterans, John serves as an active Board Member of Vets Whole in One, an organization that successfully facilitated golfing experiences for over 1,200 veterans in Los Angeles in 2023. Additionally, he holds the position of Adjutant at Disabled American Veterans Chapter 5 - Los Angeles, further demonstrating his commitment to supporting disabled veterans.

Beyond his contributions to the veteran community, John is a devoted family man. He is the proud father of three children, aged 6, 3, and 2 years old, and a loving husband to his wife Maggie. Outside of his community and family responsibilities, John pursues his passions for Audio Engineering and Golfing.
