Penelope Korff

Penelope grew up in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York before attending the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business on an Army ROTC scholarship. After graduating with honors, she served four years on active duty as a Signal Corps platoon leader in the 7th Infantry Division at Fort Lewis, Washington, which included a deployment to Korea for an extended multinational exercise.Post-military, Penelope returned to school, studying graphic design at the Massachusetts College of Art, one of the top art schools in the country, and went to work in marketing and advertising agencies before venturing out on her own. She ran her own successful graphic design business for well over a decade.Shortly after launching that business, Penelope discovered her passion and talent for acting. She earned membership in SAG-AFTRA and has had over thirty film, television, and stage roles. Her talent has been highly praised by directors, producers, critics, casting directors, and acting coaches. She was the lead and co-writer of the play Just Sayin’, which won an Encore Producers Award in the Hollywood Fringe Festival. She is also a screenwriter and script consultant, whose clients have described her as “ amazingly helpful ” and “invaluable.”There has been a smattering of other experiences that helped shape the current version of Penelope. She has worked extensively with adults with developmental disabilities, worked as a short-order cook, a Starbucks barista (one of her favorite jobs!), a travel manager for television productions, and a ghostwriter.In her spare time, you will find her hiking tall mountains, pretending to be good at tennis, and road-tripping.
